Tallgrass Joins Forces with the VFW of Colorado to Support Veterans this Holiday Season

Help deliver holiday cheer to veterans across Colorado by donating food, toys, or funds by Dec. 10

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lakewood-based energy infrastructure company, Tallgrass, is joining the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Department of Colorado to deliver food and toys to veterans and military families in need across our state as a part of the 15th Annual Ron Davies Memorial VFW Airlift.

Each year, the Airlift gathers donated toys and nonperishable food items and transports them to veterans across Colorado, with flights provided by volunteer pilots from Metropolitan State University in Denver. “As a member of VFW Post 1 right here in Denver, I’m proud of the work we’re doing at Tallgrass to support veterans and military families this holiday season,” said Steven Davidson, vice president of government and public affairs at Tallgrass.

Donations

• Donate toys: New, unwrapped gifts that brighten the holidays for children of veteran families.
• Donate food: Non-perishable items like canned goods, pasta, and staples that fill kitchens across Colorado.
• Give financially: 100% of your donation goes directly to support the Airlift’s food, toys, gift boxes, and fuel for the volunteer pilots. Financial donations may be made online at the VFWCO website.
