Hilgers PLLC Unveils New Leadership Structure, Firm Name

Hilgers Graben becomes Hilgers PLLC; Heather Hilgers takes on CEO role

LINCOLN, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading commercial litigation and discovery counsel services law firm Hilgers PLLC is announcing a new firm management structure, with founding partner Heather Hilgers in the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Joining Ms. Hilgers in top leadership roles are Sterling Miller, who takes on the position of Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel; attorney Carrie Dolton, who will continue as Head of Discovery Counsel Services; and attorney Mike Merriman, who will continue as Head of Litigation.

In addition to the management changes, the firm, which has been known as Hilgers Graben, is now Hilgers PLLC. The change reflects the next chapter of the firm, as well as the departure of name partner Andrew Graben, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Founded in 2011 by Ms. Hilgers and Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers, the nationwide firm boasts more than 130 attorneys. Mr. Hilgers left private practice when he assumed office in 2023.
