AM Best to Speak at IASA’s Pacific Northwest 2025 Fall Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Director Bridget Maehr will speak at the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association’s (IASA) Pacific Northwest Fall Conference, which will take place on Nov. 14, 2025, in Seattle.

During the session, titled, "AM Best Rating Process and Hot Topics Life/Annuity, Health & Property/Casualty," Maehr will give an overview of AM Best’s rating process and discuss leading insurance industry topics, including increased catastrophe events, strategies around elevated medical loss ratios and private credit in the life/annuity space. The session will take place at 11:00 AM PST.

Maehr has been with AM Best since 2005 and is part of analytical teams that evaluate the financial strength and creditworthiness of health insurance and employee benefit companies, as well as Caribbean insurers.
