Land Entitlement Strategist and Thought Leader Launches KnowToYes Platform to Simplify Land Use and Zoning Intelligence

WAKE FOREST, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Charlie Yokley, AICP, a leading land entitlement expert and the founder of Yokley Entitlement Services (YES), has announced the launch of a new platform venture, KnowToYes, designed to provide commercial real estate consultants, developers, municipal staff, and data managers throughout the US with a comprehensive intelligence tool for land use and zoning.

KnowToYes users can pull all the meaningful information they need in a machine-readable format that slots directly into their own tools, databases, or dashboards.

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area based Yokley, known for his more than two-decades track record of success solving entitlement challenges in the public and private sectors, designed KnowToYes by unifying thousands of pages of zoning codes and political transcripts into a single, searchable resource to bring investors and developers hundreds of hours of due diligence with a seamless and proprietary platform that empowers its users to explore property, permitting, and parcel data in addition to having access to critical political and planning intelligence.

KnowToYes turns transcripts, zoning codes, and board decisions into structured, searchable insights, enabling its users to track cases, understand zoning, decode regional politics, and spot trends.

Yokley, who has managed entitlement strategies for thousands of residential lots and millions of square feet of commercial space, originally designed KnowToYes as a tool to support clients of his fast-growing Yokley Entitlement Services (YES) business. When he saw the clarity his platform delivered — including the ability to see through the fog of politics and zoning — he realized the concept was bigger than one firm, and something he wanted to be able to make available to those who could benefit most from access to such powerful data.

“As someone who has been in and worked alongside professionals in all links of the development food chain, I know how frustrating and time consuming it can be to gather data for a site development decision,” said Yokley. “I made KnowToYes for myself, but after showing it to some very enthusiastic colleagues, it became clear how much this is needed in the field. We’re filling a gap by providing direct, programmatic access to structured zoning and political datasets. Instead of reading mountains of PDFs, transcripts, and ordinance documents, KnowToYes users can now pull all the meaningful information they need in a machine-readable format that slots directly into their own tools, databases, or dashboards.”

Noting that what started as a tool for advantage has become a platform for transparency, Yokley added, “I’m excited to be able to get this into people’s hands and make their jobs so much easier and their project selection process so much more successful.”
