KSTM Welcomes Alexis Wolf as Partner in New York

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Krauss Shaknes Tallentire & Messeri LLP announced today that Alexis Wolf, a highly respected matrimonial and family law attorney to high-net-worth individuals, has joined the firm as a partner in New York.

“Alexis is the perfect fit for KSTM, as she brings both the analytical skills and emotional intelligence needed to advise high-net-worth clients on the most challenging matrimonial and family law matters,” said KSTM founding partner Caroline Krauss. “She is highly regarded for, among other things, her ability to use her background in economics to reach creative resolutions that might elude other advocates.”

Since entering private practice in 2008, Alexis has focused exclusively on matrimonial and family law matters. She has handled a wide spectrum of engagements, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, contested divorces, and custody trials. Her active work on appeals has resulted in multiple frequently cited opinions, including Gallen v. Gallen on the distinction between active and passive appreciation. Drawing on her undergraduate concentration in economics at the University of Michigan, Alexis has developed particular expertise analyzing financial questions in complex high-net-worth divorces.

“KSTM has built a reputation for excellence by combining top-tier legal talent with a personalized, client-centered approach,” said Alexis. “I’ve seen firsthand the quality of KSTM’s work and the genuine care its attorneys show in addressing each client’s individual needs. I’m excited to contribute to the firm’s continued growth and to be part of a team that sets such a high standard in the field.”

Alexis joins KSTM from Chemtob Moss Forman & Beyda, LLP, a prominent New York-based matrimonial and family law firm where she had practiced for over 13 years, most recently as a partner. Previously, she was an associate at two New York law firms: Bender Rosenthal Isaacs & Richter LLP and Martin Friedlander, P.C. After earning her B.A. from the University of Michigan, Alexis received her J.D. at Brooklyn Law School.
