Separately, Nick Gesue will depart his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025. His position was transitioned as part of consolidating leadership following the acquisition. Responsibility for NewPoint will remain with the existing executive team under the direction of Michael Comparato, President of Franklin BSP Realty Trust.

“Geri’s promotion highlights the strength of our leadership team and reflects the pivotal role she played throughout the acquisition and integration process,” said Mr. Comparato. “Her guidance will be critical as NewPoint continues to execute its strategy and drive growth. We are grateful to Nick for his contributions in guiding NewPoint through the transaction and wish him the very best.”

Further commenting, Ms. Borger Urgo added, “I am grateful for the opportunity to help lead NewPoint into its next chapter of growth. I want to thank Nick for his leadership. It’s been a privilege to work alongside him.”

Reflecting on his tenure, Mr. Gesue shared, “My time at NewPoint has been a rewarding experience. I deeply believe in the Company’s strategy and future direction, and I am confident that the organization is well-positioned for sustained success.”
