Noble Rock Software Announces Strategic Investment in Energy Worldnet to Advance Operator Qualification Software Platform

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Noble Rock Software today announced a strategic investment in Energy Worldnet ("EWN"), a leading provider of legally-mandated Operator Qualification ("OQ") SaaS solutions for the gas pipeline, utility, and telecommunications industries. The investment will enable EWN to accelerate growth, enhance product development, and strengthen its market leading position. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1994, EWN delivers defensible OQ Programs to Utility Operators and Contractors. More than 2,000 customers use EWN to enhance worker safety, maintain core infrastructure, and increase workforce utilization.

CEO of EWN, Coleman Sterling, remarked: “The investment comes at a time of accelerating growth for EWN. We wanted a partner who can support us for many years to come. After evaluating 200 investors, Noble Rock was the clear choice. They fit our culture and have the perfect blend of expertise, encouragement, and kind curiosity.”

“We are excited to support the owners of EWN in scaling their business,” said Whitney Bower, Founder and CEO of Noble Rock Software. “Their nearly perfect client retention and NPS scores underscore how enthusiastic customers like USIC are about the Company.”

“I already actively recommend EWN to others,” said Paul Prospero, Director of OQ Compliance at USIC. “If I see someone not using EWN, I encourage them to make the switch and always highlight EWN’s superior service and platform.”

John Herr, former CEO of Avetta, will join EWN's board of directors. “I’m excited to be joining EWN as a board member and investor. Avetta was very similar - both high growth businesses focused on delivering safe work environments,” said Herr.

KPMG Corporate Finance acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to EWN, while Gray Reed & McGraw LLP served as EWN’s legal counsel. Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP provided legal counsel to Noble Rock Software.
