Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas and Stellar Bank Award $85K in Grants to Three Houston-Based Community Organizations

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Stellar Bank will award $85,000 in grants to three Houston-based nonprofits: the Community Development Corporation of Freedmens Town ($30,000), Houston Real Estate Association CDC (HREACDC) ($30,000) and Credit Coalition ($25,000).

Under the Partnership Grant Program, FHLB Dallas member institutions contribute $500 to $5,000 to a nonprofit, which FHLB Dallas matches at a 5:1 ratio to provide up to $25,000 to the organization per member. The awards help promote and strengthen relationships between community-based nonprofits and FHLB Dallas members. This year, more than $1.2 million in funding was awarded to 47 community-based organizations via 41 member institutions.
