SCS Technologies Sponsors 2nd Annual Galveston Golf Tournament to Support Local Special Olympics Athletes

Golf Tournament to be Held June 24, 2024, Aims to Raise $75,000 to Provide Health Insurance, Equipment, Uniforms, Travel Expenses for Special Olympians of Texas East Region, Area 4 in Galveston County

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SCS Technologies (SCS), a leading provider of CO₂ measurement systems, methane vapor recovery units and petroleum LACT units, today announced that the company is serving as a sponsor for the 2nd Annual Galveston Golf Tournament on June 24, 2024, benefiting the Special Olympic Athletes of Texas East Region, Area 4 in Galveston County. The tournament will be held at the Galveston Country Club and is open to the public. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
