NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Church Pension Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves The Episcopal Church, announced that it will host a conversation on socially responsible investing (SRI) with leaders from CPG, Trinity Church Wall Street, The Episcopal Diocese of Southwestern Virginia (The Trustees of the Funds), and Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust who will discuss managing investment assets for Episcopal institutions.

The virtual conversation, part of CPG’s Insights & Ideas series, will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET. Attendees will discover the approaches these institutions take to invest portfolios to achieve long-term financial objectives while also supporting the values of the Church. “We are pleased to bring together this dynamic group of leaders to offer their perspectives on how their investment strategies align with Church values,” said Mary Kate Wold, CEO and President of CPG. “Their collective expertise and insights will make for an engaging conversation, and I encourage all Episcopalians to attend.”

The panel conversation will be led by Michael Hood, Chief Investment Officer at CPG. It will include the Rev. Canon Mark Furlow, Canon to the Ordinary and Chief Operating Officer at The Episcopal Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, which oversees The Trustees of the Funds, which manages investment accounts for approximately 120 churches and 80+ Episcopal institutions within Virginia; Meredith Jenkins, Chief Investment Officer at Trinity Church Wall Street; and Monica Spencer, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust.
