Aqua Pennsylvania Donates $365,000 to The Philadelphia Zoo’s Water is Life Exhibit

Aqua Pennsylvania President Marc Lucca, Essential Utilities, Aqua Pennsylvania’s parent company, General Counsel Chris Luning and The Philadelphia Zoo Chief Development Officer Neil Batiancila.

 

 

What:

On behalf of Aqua Pennsylvania, Chris Luning will present a $365,000 check to the Philadelphia Zoo from The Essential Foundation—the charitable-giving arm of Aqua Pennsylvania’s parent company. Aqua Pennsylvania is the presenting sponsor of Water is Life: Red Panda Pass & Otter Falls. This exhibit will feature red pandas and otters while highlighting the importance of water for providing shelter, nourishment and play for all life on Earth.

 

 

 

Aqua and the Zoo share a common goal of protecting and conserving water. This three-year partnership includes community outreach and onsite volunteer opportunities centered around environmental conservation.

  • 1 – 1:15 p.m.– Intros and check presentation with Chris Luning and Marc Lucca, Neil Batiancila
  • 1:15 – 3:30 p.m. – Volunteer activity and tour of Aqua’s Water is Life Exhibit
  • 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Happy hour in the beer garden
