Hoosiers for Good announces a new Charitable Incubator Program to further raise awareness for Indiana charities

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hoosiers For Good Inc announced its new, first-of-its-kind Charitable Incubator Program which funds proposals submitted by Indiana University athletes to raise awareness for Indiana charities.

The program is designed to identify and empower IU student athletes who are passionate about charitable work and growing as leaders in the community. Hoosiers For Good Inc. will review applications submitted by student athletes and plan to fully fund and support 3 to 5 applications each semester.

As a part of the application process, student athletes will be required to identify an Indiana charity and submit project ideas designed to raise awareness for the selected Indiana charity.

“We are excited to officially launch the Charitable Incubator Program,” said Hoosiers For Good Executive Director Tyler Harris. “This unique program allows us to further promote the mission of Hoosiers For Good by raising awareness for additional Indiana charities, while also developing community-minded leaders at Indiana University.”

Chosen student athletes will partner with Hoosiers For Good for a year-long Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement and become an official Hoosiers For Good athlete. Hoosiers For Good launched in March and has since announced its inaugural class of 14 Indiana University athletes who are partnering with eight Indiana charities.

The Charitable Incubator Program application is live and applications will be accepted until July 31.
