Vident Investment Advisory Names Jeff Kernagis Senior Portfolio Manager
Highly experienced PM will help oversee the implementation, execution, and oversight of a wide variety of fixed income and multi-asset strategies
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vident Investment Advisory (VIA), a leading provider of portfolio management, trading, operational, and capital markets solutions across a full range of asset management categories, today announced that Jeff Kernagis has joined the firm as Senior Portfolio Manager. In this newly created role, Mr. Kernagis will be responsible for the implementation, execution, and oversight of a range of exchange-traded funds (ETF) portfolios, focusing on fixed income and multi-asset strategies.
Mr. Kernagis has close to 20 years of ETF industry experience, most recently as Senior Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager with Northern Trust Asset Management, where he played a vital role in the portfolio management processes for the firm’s fixed income ETFs. Prior to that he was a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager with Invesco for more than a decade and an ETF Portfolio Manager with Guggenheim Funds Distributors, Inc. Mr. Kernagis has also held senior roles at ABN Amro and Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union. Mr. Kernagis is a CFA Charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Notre Dame and an MBA from DePaul University.
