North Park Estates Begins Construction with Help of $500K AHP Grant

GULFPORT, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Join representatives from The Peoples Bank, Gulf Coast Housing Partnership (GCHP) and South Mississippi Housing and Development Corp. at a groundbreaking celebrating the start of construction on North Park Estates. The project was funded, in part, through a $500,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant from The Peoples Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas).

The ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 8156 South Carolina Avenue in Gulfport, Mississippi. The media is encouraged to attend.

FHLB Dallas awards AHP grants annually in partnership with its members like The Peoples Bank to support the creation or rehabilitation of affordable housing units, among other uses. Gulf Coast Housing Partnership was awarded the grant for the redevelopment of North Park Estates.
