IncNow Shares Prosperity, Earns B Corp 2019 ‘Best For The World’ in Governance

WILMINGTON, Del.--()--Ranking in the top 2% worldwide of all B Corps for its governance impact, today, IncNow earned the 2019 'Best For The World' in governance honor from B Lab because of its overall mission, ethics, accountability, and transparency. B Lab also measures whether the company has adopted a social or environmental mission, and how it engages its employees, board members and the community to achieve that mission.

Award-winning IncNow is also the first business incorporation service globally and the first company in Delaware to become a Certified B Corp. Iconic brands Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia and Fender guitars are among the 3,000 Certified B Corps in 150 industries and 60 countries that are leading the B Corp movement from corporate shareholder primacy to a sustainable economy of shared prosperity.

Remarked IncNow’s president, John Legaré Williams, Esq., ”Giving back is in the heartbeat of everything we do at IncNow. To define that as a core value of our company, we amended IncNow’s corporate charter to provide the specific public benefit purpose of the corporation, to support the environment, education, entrepreneurship, and the arts in the greater Delaware Valley and promote a vibrant and healthy workplace utilizing funds not to exceed five percent (5%) of the Corporation’s annual gross profits.” Transparency is one of the hallmarks of B Corp certification.

“We’re incredibly proud of Agents and Corporations, Inc. (trading as IncNow), this year’s 'Best For The World' Governance honoree,” says Anthea Kelsick, Chief Marketing Officer of B Lab. “This inspiring company represents the kind of purpose-driven, businesses that are building a new shared economy—one that delivers value to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.”

Mr. Williams exclaimed, “IncNow is excited to earn this ‘Best For The World’ governance honor. For our Registered Agent customers, which span the USA and the world, this global honor is a testament to our board of director’s commitment to our employees, community and environment and assures our customers that they will be similarly nurtured.”

Revealed Mr. Williams, “It’s mostly how we govern our overall mission that impacts our employees, community and environment the most.”

One example of how IncNow’s governance “engages its employees, board members and the community,” is its recent certification announcement. Upon becoming Delaware’s first Certified B Corp, IncNow’s president decided to host an event to share the news by giving back to the community and his employees. Dubbed the IncNow Benefits Crew Challenge and Pan Am Games Send Off event, 300 YMCA day campers learned about rowing and cheered on the campers who volunteered to use the rowing machines donated by Mr. Williams to row against IncNow’s database administrator, Will Purman. When not at his full time job, Mr. Purman, a high performance rower, appreciates his employer, Mr. Williams’ flexibility and encouragement to train to row in the 2020 Olympics on behalf of Puerto Rico.

Employee access to financial information, customers’ opportunities to provide feedback, and the diversity of the company’s governing bodies are also required and rated for the 'Best For The World' Governance award. Over 400 IncNow customers have written positive, near perfect 5 star Trust Pilot reviews for IncNow. All IncNow employees know the family-owned company’s monthly and annual performance and help forward its purpose-driven mission.

In addition to its new 'Best For The World' Governance honor, IncNow received the Delaware Business Times’ Family Owned Business – 2018 Community Service Award. This is largely because of its non-profit board participation in a dozen organizations and financial support of local organizations meeting its purpose driven mission.

“IncNow is really a very different type of business that is focused first on doing good and second on doing well,” explained IncNow’s president, John L. Williams, Esq.

About IncNow www.incnow.com/about-us

Agents and Corporations, Inc. (IncNow) is a family owned and attorney operated registered agent that has been fulfilling its mission of providing fast, easy and reliable incorporation services to business owners around the world for 45 years.

IncNow was founded by David N. Williams Esq. (trustwilliams.com/attorneys.asp#david-williams) in 1974, the same year he opened doors to his law firm, The Williams Law Firm, P.A. IncNow began as the registered agent for clients of the law firm. Upon realizing that few attorneys were familiar with incorporating a business in Delaware, Mr. Williams decided to offer IncNow’s services to everyone. In doing so, he gave public access to attorney quality documents at a filing service price.

In 2001, David Williams’ son John L. Williams, Esq., an attorney with expertise in LLCs, joined IncNow and opened IncNow’s services to an even wider audience through an e-commerce website.

To this day, IncNow makes it easy for entrepreneurs to incorporate and gives lawyers and accountants “signature ready” documents for their clients. IncNow remains an attorney-operated incorporation service that’s small enough to care and big enough to count on.
