INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Golden LivingCenters – Indiana, a skilled nursing company with 23 healthcare facilities across Indiana, today announced that Larry Heydon has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer. Heydon brings more than 26 years of proven c-level healthcare and finance expertise to his role at the company. As the CFO for Golden LivingCenters – Indiana, Heydon will provide executive financial leadership for the company’s corporate headquarters as well as the operations of all 23 LivingCenters.
Heydon’s success from his previous executive leadership and financial management positions will help him oversee the day-to-day financial operations of Golden LivingCenters – Indiana, as well as identify new opportunities for growth and improvement. His responsibility and oversight includes: cultivating strategic growth and working with the current Golden LivingCenters – Indiana management team to improve financial performance; managing revenue cycles; providing governance of the LivingCenters’ financial regulatory reporting and compliance guidelines; and delivering financial forecasting needed to sustain the company’s delivery of quality healthcare in the skilled nursing setting.

Prior to joining Golden LivingCenters – Indiana, Heydon was President and Chief Executive Officer of Johnson Memorial Hospital for 11 years. He also served as the hospital’s Chief Financial Officer for six years. Heydon served as the Executive Director of the Mooresville campus of Franciscan St. Francis Health where he contributed to the hospital’s expansion efforts. In his role with Franciscan St. Francis Health, he served on the senior leadership team that grew the hospital’s regional system into a $1 billion business.
In addition to his healthcare experience, Heydon has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Citizens Bank – Indiana (Citba Financial Corporation) since 2014. In this role, he oversees the governance of the publicly traded regional bank which has $500 million in total assets and nine branch locations.
