Hope Services to Host Inaugural Benefit Concert at Villa Montalvo Arts Center

“In Concert with Hope” to feature the musical talent of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Booker T. Jones, and two-time GRAMMY nominee Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Hope Services, the leading organization improving the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities in the Bay Area, will host the inaugural “In Concert with Hope” benefit concert on May 30, 2019 at the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga. The concert will showcase the musical talent of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Booker T. Jones, and two-time GRAMMY nominee Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers.

“We are looking forward to hosting our first benefit concert, and working with our donors, sponsors and the community to make it a success,” said Chip Huggins, CEO of Hope Services. “Every sponsor and attendee will help us further our mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness to help them live more fulfilling, engaging lives.”

Proceeds from the benefit will go towards basic supplies, materials and staff salaries that are critical to Hope’s programs. Hope Services delivers a range of services for people with developmental disabilities, from infants through senior citizens. Services provided include children’s services (age 0-5); day services including site-based and community-based programs; employment and job training through an extensive network of local companies; mental health services; senior services; and community living services.
