DALLAS--()--The Mark 11:24 Foundation, founded in 2009 by Esposito Securities CEO Mark Esposito, is celebrating the success of the 5th Annual Capital One Kidpreneur Expo that took place on Saturday, November 17th at St. Philips School & Community Center in Dallas, Texas. The Foundation was a major sponsor of the event, which focused on supporting and developing kid entrepreneurs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

This year’s Expo was the largest in its 5-year history, featuring dozens of local entrepreneurs, most of whom are years away from being old enough to vote. A highlight of the event saw 20 kid entrepreneurs competing in the “Kid Tank” contest, pitching innovative business ideas to a panel of well-known local business leaders. Prizes ranged from $250 to $1,000. Winners of the competition were:

  • Alexdeon
  • Artistry by Ash
  • EsiNiara
  • FUN-L-Cakes
  • I Love Be You Natural Products
  • Krafty Korner
  • leMonADE with Love
  • Minyons Catering
  • NAZKIDZ
  • She Works With Her Hands; and
  • Word of Mouth Marketing Group.

This event is always one of the highlights of our year,” said Mark Esposito. “The creativity and business acumen of these kids never ceases to amaze and astound, and I have no doubt we’ll be seeing big things from all of the participants in this year’s Expo in the years to come.”

Esposito added, “The genesis of the Mark 11:24 Foundation came from a promise I made to myself when I was a child, that I would look for ways to give back when I was older, so working closely with the organizers of this great event is always a thrill and a perfect fit for the Foundation’s mission.”

Inspiring kidpreneur Kheris Rogers, founder of “Flexin’ In My Complexion,” gave the keynote speech on her business success and fashion brand. And dozens of other up and coming kid businesses also showcased at the event, selling a wide array of unique products ranging from clothing to food.
