To celebrate Giving Tuesday, U.S. Cellular is announcing the return of its program, The Future of Good, which champions and invests in youth who are making an extraordinary impact in their communities. This year, the program will recognize 16 young humanitarians under the age of 16 who connect the good in all of us, and reward them with $10,000 toward their cause.

CHICAGO--()--On Giving Tuesday, U.S. Cellular’s The Future of Good program returns for its fourth year, to champion and invest in youth who are doing good in their communities by raising awareness for their causes and increasing their impact through financial contributions. This year, from November 27, 2018 through January 8, 2019, adults are encouraged to visit TheFutureofGood.com to nominate youth ages six through 15, who are making an impact in U.S. Cellular’s communities.

Following the nomination phase, 16 youth under age 16 will be recognized for doing extraordinary acts of good in their communities, and will receive $10,000 each to put toward their cause. The winners will be announced in February 2019, and their stories will be featured on TheFutureofGood.com.

“At U.S. Cellular, we celebrate and recognize youth who have a positive impact and set an example of what it means to truly help local communities,” said Grant Leech, vice president of brand marketing at U.S. Cellular. “In years past we’ve seen extraordinary examples of giving back from young humanitarians, and this year we look forward to featuring stories of how young humanitarians are using wireless technology to enhance their efforts and to show first-hand how youth are connecting to the good in all of us.”

To enter, nominators should visit TheFutureofGood.com and provide a brief essay that describes the nominee’s cause, how it is helping to make his/her community a better place, and how the nominee uses wireless connectivity or technology to further his/her cause. Nominees must not turn 16 before February 28, 2019.
