Tintri Joins VMware Users and Professionals for Its 7th Year at VMworld

Tintri showcases new product features and hosts breakout sessions to share insights on Containers, ElasticSearch and Spark and snapshot best practices

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--()--Tintri, Inc., a provider of All-Flash software and systems, today announced it will be at VMworld in Las Vegas, Aug. 26 – 30 to help attendees learn how to solve the toughest problems in virtualized environments.

This is Tintri’s seventh year at VMworld with a presence on the Mandalay Bay Convention Center show floor at booth #1226 where it will demonstrate the newest feature of its flash hardware and software solutions. The company will also host daily in-booth theater presentations.

Tintri will also present breakout sessions to discuss lessons learned from implementing big data applications in production along with Snapshot best practices:

Lessons Learned: Production Apps using Containers, ElasticSearch and Spark
Monday, August 27, 4:00pm – 5:00pm

This deep dive presentation covers lessons learned from implementing big data applications in production over the last 5 years at Tintri. These applications span several generations, are both internal-facing and customer-facing, BI-tools and custom products and are implemented in a hybrid cloud environment. Tintri will talk about its experiences using Containers, ElasticSearch and Spark, among other technologies. Tintri will also talk about the challenges they faced, and suggest some key questions to ask as you embark on the implementation of a new ML or big data project, or the adoption of a new database or framework.

Best Practices for Snapshot Heavy Environments
Wednesday, August 29, 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Location: Lagoon D, Level 2
Tintri Director of Technical Marketing Tomer Hagay will discuss how to use virtual machine snapshots for maximum efficiency. The presentation will showcase the good, bad and the ugly of snapshotting within vSphere environments, outlining common errors and their impact on the environment.
