IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--QuickBridge, a privately-held, leading financial services firm offering small business loans to small-to-mid-sized businesses nationwide, is celebrating The U.S. Small Business Administration 2018 National Small Business Week by running a two-week social media contest on Facebook and LinkedIn to identify and recognize local small businesses.
Since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized the outstanding achievements of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners for their critical contributions to their local communities and our nation’s economy. According to the SBA, more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. This year, National Small Business Week is celebrated April 29 – May 5, 2018.
QuickBridge’s contest will run from Monday, April 23 through Friday, May 4 at noon PDT. Individuals can nominate their favorite small business or their own business by liking one of QuickBridge’s Facebook or LinkedIn contest posts, tagging the nominated small business (i.e. @company), and writing a 100-word-or-less comment on why that business deserves recognition. Rules state one nomination per individual. Winners will be selected by a panel of QuickBridge judges based on the value or intrigue of the entry. QuickBridge is not limiting the number of winners.
