The Sleep Out Movement is an opportunity for all of us to come together and make an immediate and lasting impact on the homeless young people who live at Covenant House. On March 23rd, local young professionals will take their sleeping bags and sleep on the street in solidarity with the homeless youth of Los Angeles. The funds raised by Sleep Out participants help in keeping the lights on and the doors open for the thousands of youth who will seek help from Covenant House California this year. The youth of Covenant House California are affected by every interaction with someone who cares and Sleep Out offers every participant the chance to be someone who cares. ABOUT COVENANT HOUSE:
Covenant House California (CHC) is a
non-profit youth homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support
for homeless and trafficked youth, ages 18-24. We believe that no young
person deserves to be homeless; that every young person in California
deserves shelter, food, clothing, education … and most importantly, to
be loved. Now serving over 2,300 youth a year, CHC has served over
190,000 homeless youth since we’ve opened our doors. CHC provides a full
continuum of services to meet the physical, emotional, educational,
vocational, and spiritual well-being of young people, in order to
