ESI and ESNA Announce Co-Located Conference to Debut in San Diego, March 27

ESNA Solar+Storage Summit Powered by Strategen and ESI will feature a unique hands-on program designed for the solar installer and integrator community

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--Energy Storage International (ESI) and Energy Storage North America (ESNA) today announced a partnership that will bring the ESNA Solar+Storage Summit, Powered by Strategen and ESI to the California Solar Power Expo in San Diego, CA on March 27, 2018.

The ESNA Solar+Storage Summit, Powered by Strategen and ESI is a one-day, hands-on deep dive into market opportunities for solar and storage in California. Produced jointly by the experts on grid storage and solar, ESI and Strategen, it is the first program of its kind specifically targeted toward the solar installer and integrator community.

“With the new storage subsidies in California, the addition of this summit to the California Solar Power Expo will allow solar installers and integrators the ability to learn how to make the business case for energy storage,” said Stephen Miner, President and CEO Solar Energy Trade Shows.

California Public Utilities Commissioner Carla Peterman – the assigned commissioner for renewables, storage and alternative-fueled vehicles – is slated to address the role of solar and storage for California’s clean energy future during the summit. Other hot topics include: global energy storage trends, the impact to both in-front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter solar value propositions, and sales, system design, procurement and asset management perspectives on how installers and integrators can incorporate storage into future solar projects.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the California Solar Power Expo on this inaugural event. The focus and format of the Solar+Storage Summit allows us to explore market developments and opportunities for solar+storage that will not only inform, but will also inspire action, new connections and accelerated progress for clean energy,” said Janice Lin, ESNA Expo, LLC Co-Founder and Conference Chair.

The California Solar Power Expo, March 27-28, is expected to welcome more than 1,500 attendees and 70 exhibitors, and feature two-days of interactive education and networking led by experts in the solar and storage industries.
