HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fifteen Houston small business owners were helped in their post-Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts by a total of $200,000 in Small Business Recovery grants from Texas Capital Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas). Each business received up to $15,000 to aid in their repair and/or rebuilding efforts.
These grants are part of $6.7 million in grants offered by FHLB Dallas, including more than $2.25 million to assist small businesses in their recovery efforts. Texas Capital Bank, an FHLB Dallas member institution, awards Small Business Recovery grants to help qualified small business owners in counties that have been designated for Individual Assistance by FEMA.
The media is invited to attend a check presentation at 1:00 p.m. on December 20 at The Green Bone, a doggy day care in Houston, and one of the grant recipients. In addition to The Green Bone, 14 other Small Business Recovery grant recipients have been invited to attend.
