CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Veranda, the East Bay’s newest destination for contemporary shopping, dining and entertainment, announced today its grand opening celebration will be held on December 6, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. PT. The celebration coincides with the opening of 365 by Whole Foods Market and includes a ribbon cutting ceremony with representatives from the City of Concord and CenterCal Properties, LLC.

The ribbon cutting will take place in the Fountain Plaza in front of Veranda LUXE Cinema & IMAX. Speakers include CenterCal Properties President Jean Paul Wardy, County Supervisor Karen Mitchoff and the mayor of Concord.
Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy surprising entertainment, music, food and refreshments, prizes, face painting, balloon animals and visits from Olaf, Elsa and Anna from the movie Frozen, and Mrs. Claus.

The Veranda is a 375,000-square foot mixed-use plaza that features retail, entertainment and dining opportunities.
