Aurora Diagnostics Announces Acquisition of CBM Pathology of Maryland

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--()--Aurora Diagnostics, the nation’s largest independent integrated oncology diagnostics practice, today announced the acquisition of CBM Pathology, bringing to 31 the number of affiliated local pathology practices around the country.

Located in Gaithersburg, Md., CBM is a multi-specialty pathology practice that provides surgical services to ambulatory surgery centers and referring physician groups in Gaithersburg and the surrounding area. CBM was founded in 1999.

Four other practices were acquired by Aurora earlier in 2017 – University Pathologists in Warwick, RI; Pathology Associates of Princeton in Plainsboro Township, NJ; Cleveland Skin Pathology Laboratory, Inc. in Cleveland, OH; and CytoPath in Alabaster, AL.

Terms of the CBM transaction were not disclosed.
