OncLive® to Host State of the Science Summit™: Advanced NonSmall Cell Lung Cancer

Industry thought leaders will offer the latest information from the lung cancer community

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--OncLive®, a leading digital provider of resources and information to oncology professionals, will host the latest State of the Science Summit™: Advanced Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) on Dec. 4, at the Hilton Pasadena in California. The activity will be chaired by Karen Reckamp, M.D., M.S., thoracic oncologist and co-director of the Lung Cancer and Thoracic Oncology Program, medical director of clinical research operations and associate professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope.

This educational program will serve as a platform for medical professionals to present the latest findings from the field of lung cancer. Discussion topics will include biomarkers in NSCLC, surgical resection, disparity in lung cancer therapy and targeted therapies. The following experts will be participating on the panels:

  • Dan Raz, M.D., M.A.S., co-director of the Lung Cancer and Thoracic Oncology Program, assistant professor in the Division of Thoracic Surgery, Department of Surgery, thoracic surgeon, City of Hope
  • Ravi Salgia, M.D., Ph.D., associate director for Clinical Sciences Research, Arthur & Rosalie Kaplan Chair in Medical Oncology, professor and chair of the Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research
  • Sagus Sampath, M.D., assistant clinical professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, radiation oncologist
  • Lecia Sequist, M.D., M.P.H., associate professor, medicine, Harvard Medical School, attending physician, Massachusetts General Hospital

State of the Science Summit™ is a premier conference series hosted by OncLive® featuring medical experts from across the nation.
