MARIETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Consulting, engineering and construction services firm Atwell, LLC is pleased to welcome Thalonius (Theo) Stone to our team as Team Leader, Real Estate and Land Development. Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Stone is responsible for ensuring Atwell’s clients’ needs are met by coordinating project resources, leading his team’s project quality control, and maintaining project budgets and schedules. He will also supervise, coach, and mentor his team members.
Stone has a diverse project resume with more than 28 years of experience managing land development projects across the United States, with completed projects in 17 states. His specific expertise includes site feasibility, preliminary site planning, complete site and hydrology design, cost estimates, project bidding, and on-site construction administration. He is skilled in coordinating project schedules and resources, planning with individual project managers and team members, addressing engineering and project issues with project managers, reviewing project budgets, preparing project contracts, and reviewing engineering plans for quality control and engineering standard’s compliance.
A registered Level II Plan Reviewer with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission, Stone is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), and a board member for the Association for Learning Environments.
