Health Partners Medicare Offers Pennsylvanians Affordable Plan Premiums as Low as $0 for Fifth Year in a Row

2018 plans offer high quality, comprehensive coverage to fit every need and budget

PHILADELPHIA--()--For the fifth year in a row, Health Partners Plans (HPP) is offering its popular and affordable Medicare Advantage plans designed to meet the needs of today’s seniors. With low-cost prescription drug and dental coverage options as well as no copays for routine vision, hearing and fitness benefits, Medicare beneficiaries can enjoy a great value and comprehensive coverage that meets the needs of any budget.

Starting October 15, Health Partners Medicare began accepting enrollments for 2018, offering its popular Medicare Advantage plans to residents of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia counties. Our Medicare Advantage plans give members all the coverage of Original Medicare with extras including:

  • Plan premiums as low as $0 per month
  • $0 or low-cost PCP visits
  • Access to an extensive network of more than 4,000 doctors and leading area hospitals
  • Free memberships at area fitness centers
  • Local, unmatched around-the-clock customer service, 365 days a year

This year, members also have access to HPP’s Wellness Partners program. This new program offers informative resources and interactive activities focusing on fitness, nutrition and education at no cost to members. It emphasizes the impact physical activity and social interaction have on improving health as people age.

Health Partners Medicare offers the following four plans that provide comprehensive coverage options.

  • Health Partners Medicare Basic (HMO) – a $0 premium plan with medical benefits for people who don’t need prescription drug coverage
  • Health Partners Medicare Value (HMO) – a $0 premium plan with prescription drug coverage
  • Health Partners Medicare Prime (HMO) – an enhanced plan providing extra benefits and prescription drug coverage at an affordable premium
  • Health Partners Medicare Special (HMO SNP) – a Special Needs Plan that includes prescription drug coverage and is open to anyone who has both Medicare and Medicaid

All plans also include access to Teladoc®, a convenient and innovative resource that connects plan members with doctors by phone or video for help with non-emergency medical issues.
