WATKINSVILLE, Ga.--()--Stadion Money Management, known for its participant level, customized retirement solutions and non-traditional investment strategies, today announced the addition of four wholesalers to its sales team: Eric Butler in Colorado, Tim Bottomly in Massachusetts, Carey Robinson in California and Brian Peterson in North Carolina. All four join the firm as Vice President - Advisor Consultant, and oversee retail and retirement products in their territories. They report to Dave Lacusky, Chief Distribution Officer.

“Eric, Tim, Carey and Brian have distinguished themselves as successful wholesalers who understand the financial advisor arena and the strategies advisors are looking for to help their clients navigate the markets,” said Lacusky. “We’re excited about the opportunities we have with our investment solutions, including StoryLine, and the newly launched TargetFit.”

StoryLine, built with SPDR® ETFs, is an innovative retirement planning solution built specifically for 401(k) participants in advisor-sold plans. It made its market debut in 2016 and has approximately $600 million in AUM as of 9/30/17. TargetFit, launched earlier this month, takes target date funds and adds choice. About Stadion Money Management

Established in 1993, Stadion Money Management is an independent firm headquartered near Athens, Georgia. Stadion’s proprietary money management focuses on asset allocations using ETFs and liquid alternative strategies designed to minimize risk while achieving investor objectives. As of 9/30/17, Stadion managed approximately $3.3 billion. Visit Stadion Money Management at www.stadionmoney.com.

Stadion’s TargetFit strategies are designed to offer an asset allocation that becomes more conservative over time. Every TargetFit glide path utilizes three components in different blends designed to offer varying levels of risk exposure. The three components are: Strategic Equity, Strategic Fixed Income, and Flex. The Strategic Equity component remains fully invested in equity positions at all times, while retaining the ability to strategically adjust the allocation among various equity positions. The Strategic Fixed Income component remains fully invested in fixed income positions at all times, while retaining the ability to strategically adjust the allocation among various fixed income positions. The Flex component is actively managed between equity positions, fixed income positions, and cash/cash equivalents depending on the risk level of the market as determined by Stadion’s proprietary Short Term and Long Term models, which are each applied to 50% of the Flex.

There are risks involved with investing, including possible loss of principal. Exchange traded funds (ETFs) are the primary underlying investment vehicle. There are additional costs and potential risks associated with investing in domestic and international ETFs. Investment in the funds is subject to investment risks, including, without limitation, market risk, management style risk, risks related to “fund of funds” structure, sector risk, fixed income risk, tracking risk, risks related to ETF net asset value and market price, foreign securities risk, risks related to portfolio turnover and small capitalization companies risk. Since each fund is structured as a “fund of funds” an investor will indirectly bear fees and expenses charged by the underlying ETFs in addition to the Fund’s direct fees and expenses. Acquired ETF fees will vary due to the active management of the ETF allocations.
