BOSTON & CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Powering Precision Health 2017, the nation’s first precision health summit designed to be the premiere forum for world-leading biomarker research discovery and innovation, is pleased to announce that David Walt, Ph.D., senior investigator, Department of Pathology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital; Core Faculty of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University; and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor, will speak at the summit on October 24th at the Charles Hotel.

Using advanced detection technologies, the lab is breaking new ground, developing a blood test for detecting early-stage breast cancer, diagnosing latent tuberculosis, and detecting various infectious diseases.
