Columbus Consulting International Experiences Significant Growth in European Market, Partners with Notable Retailers

Firm now has more than 20 customers in Europe and team includes large network of partners, principals, independent consultants and alliances

COPENHAGEN, Denmark--()--Columbus Consulting International, a leading industry consultancy specializing in retail business processes and systems, announced today at Shoptalk Europe the company’s significant momentum in the European market. Since the company entered the European market in 2013, its European customer base has increased to more than 20 retailers and solutions providers.

In order to serve the growing client list, Columbus Consulting has also expanded its European team to include two partners, four principals, and a network of more than 30 independent consultants and extended alliances. The team’s expertise touches every aspect of the retail industry from merchandising-specific functions such as allocation and assortment planning to overall omni-channel and eCommerce business strategy.

  • Hunkemöller – A leading European lingerie brand with over 800 stores and a pioneer in omni-channel, Hunkemöller is defined by its strong in-house design team that drives fashion and product innovation. In order to address their omni-channel growth plans, Hunkemöller enlisted Columbus Consulting’s expertise to select an allocation and replenishment solution. As part of the selection process, Columbus helped Hunkemöller build a business case to gain the backing of the retailer’s board and investors and are now helping them implement the solution.
  • Aspinal of London – Aspinal is a well-known British brand that designs luxurious leather goods including designer handbags, purses, wallets and other luxury leather goods. Aspinal was founded on the fundamental premise of offering customers the most beautiful, elegant and refined designs of superior quality. Columbus Consulting has recently worked alongside Aspinal to support the delivery of a new ERP solution. The ERP will enable Aspinal’s growth plans by allowing the brand to implement a new solution for point of sale, finance, warehouse, merchandising and customer service.
  • Salomon – Salomon, a division of Amer Sports, produces and sells premium footwear, winter sports and mountaineering equipment, hiking equipment, and apparel specifically designed for these disciplines. Salomon is working with Columbus Consulting to help rollout new omni-channel customer service programmes, including clienteling and bringing eCommerce sales in-store using assisted selling devices.
