First Issue of Journal of Contemporary Pharmacy Practice Published

Peer-reviewed scientific publication speaks to a national readership

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--Formerly California Pharmacist, the newly rebranded Journal of Contemporary Pharmacy Practice (JCPhP) aims to publish relevant content for practicing pharmacists, faculty, student pharmacists and researchers across the country. Article departments include original research, scientific reviews, case reports/series, evidence-based practice, clinical practice capsules, law updates, and precepting pearls.

We are emphasizing trends in contemporary pharmacy practice to inform, educate and motivate our readers to help them better serve their patients,” said JCPhP editor-in-chief Karl Hess, PharmD, APh, FCPhA. “We solicit and accept manuscripts across a wide variety of subjects as it relates to pharmacy practice and research in an open-format platform.”
