‘Entertainment Weekly Cast Reunions’ Debuts on Facebook’s Watch Platform

Popular and Beloved Cast Reunions Will Run on Facebook’s Watch Every Thursday

NEW YORK--()--Time Inc. (NYSE:TIME) today announced that it will launch an “Entertainment Weekly Cast Reunions” video series for Watch, Facebook’s new platform for video. The series, debuting today with the cast and creators of Will & Grace, is now available on the new Watch platforms on Facebook’s mobile, desktop and TV platforms. The first season of “Entertainment Weekly Cast Reunions” will run for eight episodes, with a new episode airing each Thursday. Brand new, exclusive cast reunions of Family Matters and Blossom are scheduled to follow the Will & Grace premiere.

“Entertainment Weekly Cast Reunions,” produced by Entertainment Weekly Studios, is a true labor of love—fueled by EW’s unparalleled access, and its belief in the power and positivity of nostalgia. Entertainment Weekly’s editors bring pop culture friends and families back together, right where they’ve always been, in our hearts and minds. Additional reunions to be featured on Watch include the casts of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Friday Night Lights, Pretty in Pink, Aliens, and The Princess Bride.

“We’re thrilled to bring Entertainment Weekly’s iconic cast reunions to Facebook’s Watch, as we continue our mission of delivering premium video to viewers on all platforms,” said David Flumenbaum, Executive Director, Digital Video, Time Inc. “On Watch, we hope to build a new community around one of Time Inc.’s signature shows, and deepen the connection with an even wider audience.”

“Our cast reunions are wildly popular and a distinguishing hallmark of EW,” added Entertainment Weekly Editor-in-Chief, Henry Goldblatt. “With each reunion we strive to give our audience a truly unique gift. We’re proud to bring our unparalleled access to the most beloved entertainers to Facebook’s Watch.”

“Cast Reunions,” which will appear in the Hero section of the Watch platform, is the third Time Inc. series to be featured on Facebook’s Watch. Earlier this month, Time Inc. announced the premiere of “Homemade vs. The Internet,” for Watch, and in August, People’s “Celeb Moms Get Real” debuted as one of the new platform’s launch shows.
