PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ServiceRocket, a leader in software adoption, announced today the appointment of Michael DiFilippo to the company’s board of directors. DiFilippo currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at AppDirect, the leading technology platform for selling, distributing, and managing cloud-based services. He brings more than twenty-five years of experience in finance, accounting, and business development leadership roles with public companies and venture capital/private equity-funded technology startups including Software as a Service (SaaS) companies. Prior to AppDirect, DiFilippo was Division CFO for the Mobility Apps Division of Citrix Systems, acquired by LogMeIn Inc. January 2017; CFO at MuleSoft with responsibility for all staff functions plus sales operations and helped scale the company during its early growth stage; CFO at Intelleflex, where he streamlined operations and optimized cash flow; and VP Finance at Symbol Technologies, where he oversaw product finance and helped scale business analytics, reporting and financial planning.
“ServiceRocket’s software adoption focus resonates with me,” said DiFilippo. “As a finance executive, it is a major pain point to cut large checks for the solution du jour only to see after the fact that it’s not been widely adopted. ServiceRocket’s products and services are geared toward helping customers and partners get up and running and get full use of what they’ve bought.”
“I strongly believe in the company values, in particular focusing on the outcome and talking straight, and I love how Rob himself lives the values,” said DiFilippo. “I knew culturally there would be an excellent fit.”
DiFilippo graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Finance and minors in Accounting and Economics and earned an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
“Michael’s impressive experience in software industry finance is a great fit for us,” said ServiceRocket Founder and CEO Rob Castaneda. “Being a self-funded company and approaching 300 team members and five offices around the world, having strong board members that can help us continue to navigate our journey is critical. Apart from his experience and expertise, Michael’s character and ability to balance execution with reflection will be very advantageous for our future.”
