Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $1.9 Million Contract for Military Communications Amplifiers

MELVILLE, N.Y.--()--August 8, 2017-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2017, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., which is part of Comtech’s Commercial Solutions segment, received $1.9 million of follow-on orders from a domestic integrator for Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers ("TWTAs") for a U.S. Government Satellite Communications application.

The Ku- and Ka-band TWTAs ordered for this challenging Army application are part of Comtech Xicom Technology’s industry-leading high efficiency TWTA product line and will be delivered this year.
