SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zensights is pleased to announce that Sharon Clarke has joined the organization as chief commercial officer. With more than 20 years of pharmaceutical experience in C-suite and other senior commercial roles, Clarke expands the company's capabilities in the complex arena of vendor selection and engagement. Her areas of immediate focus include enhancing the Zensights executive panel to meet expanding customer demand to better enable biotech, pharmaceutical and life sciences companies to secure best-in-class vendor services. Clarke will also join the Zensights team in implementing the innovative “Adapt or Die” leadership series, which is helping to shape the face of leadership in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
As a former president and general manager of MEDA US, an affiliate of a Swedish-owned pharmaceutical company, and senior advisor to other pharmaceutical leaders, Clarke brings valuable expertise in driving commercial excellence. Critical elements of these roles included finding exceptional vendors and forging strategic partnerships that created value and provided high-quality services at price points consistent with the constraints of emerging organizations. Clarke also has extensive experience in launch planning and execution in highly competitive marketplaces and in implementing sophisticated collaborations for established and emerging commercial organizations. Her work with a broad array of vendor partners augments Zensights’ capabilities in this complex field.
Clarke is a member of the board of directors for JDP Therapeutics, a privately held clinical Phase 3 stage specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing small molecule therapeutics to treat life-threatening diseases. She is also a member of the board of trustees (president’s circle) of East Tennessee State University, from which she graduated magna cum laude with degrees in microbiology and chemistry. Clarke lives in Robbinsville, New Jersey with her husband and three children.
