AUSTIN, Texas--()--Vyopta Incorporated, the leading solution provider in unified communications network monitoring and performance improvement software, announced today the appointment of Dan Keelan as Vice President of Sales and Ruston Vickers as Vice President of Engineering.

As members of the executive team, Keelan and Vickers drive strategy for Vyopta and lead its growth efforts with innovative products and solutions aligned to the unified communications (UC) buyer needs.

Dan Keelan joins the Vyopta executive team after investing in Vyopta and serving as a board advisor since 2013. Dan held leadership roles at Oracle, IBM and i2 Technologies as well as investing in and consulting with numerous early stage companies. Dan lived in Australia and Brussels while expanding i2’s operations to Asia-Pacific and Europe. His experience is crucial for executing on growth and partnership projects for Vyopta.

Ruston Vickers joins Vyopta at a critical expansion point for the solution and brings more than 20 years of extensive experience leading startup, as well as, large mature software development teams. He has created enterprise software solutions used by many of the largest global brands. Ruston founded and served as CTO of ITKO, Inc. developing solutions in the distributed application space. The product suite created a new market category called Service Virtualization leading to the company's acquisition by CA Technologies in 2011.
