Navy Federal Merges with Fort Meade Community Credit Union

VIENNA, Va.--()--Navy Federal Credit Union announced today it has merged with Fort Meade Community Credit Union (FMCCU), a move that went into effect July 17.

Under the voluntary merger, FMCCU’s two branch locations on and around Fort Meade, Md., are transitioning to become Navy Federal branches. One branch is located on the Fort Meade Army Garrison. The other branch is located roughly three miles from the base in the Odenton Shopping Center.

In addition to the two branch locations, members of FMCCU will now have access to Navy Federal’s branch and ATM network, 24/7 live phone support, and mobile and online banking.

"The combination of Fort Meade Community Credit Union and Navy Federal brings together a passion for membership and vast experience to the important work of serving the military and their families,” said Nancy DeDona, senior vice president of branch operations at Navy Federal. "This merger provides former FMCCU members with expanded products, services and convenience, including over 300 branches worldwide and our mobile and online services."
