The feature is now available to all current and new members who have purchased the company’s industry-leading IDShield identity theft protection service.
Studies show that 73 percent of consumers use the same password for multiple accounts, and at least 80 percent of security incidents are due to weak passwords. Effective passwords are a key part of keeping your personal information safe online, but many people have trouble creating one that is unique and secure – and even more trouble remembering them for various digital accounts.
With IDShield Vault, members will be able to access a separate, secure online dashboard where they can manage their passwords, while also generating new ones. IDShield Vault uses a browser plug-in to auto-fill known passwords while browsing on the web; it also syncs across all devices and provides a secure automatic backup feature.
