LOS ANGELES--()--Leafly, the world’s cannabis information resource, is hitting the road this summer for the Leafly HighWay Tour, a three-month, five-state, 2000-mile road trip to celebrate cannabis culture and the road to cannabis legalization. To travel in style, the Leafly team has customized a vintage 1968 Airstream trailer, which will make its way across the West Coast chock full of fresh cannabis educational content and entertainment, interactive activities, and special guest appearances.

“More Americans support cannabis legalization than ever before, and the movement for reform shows no signs of slowing down,” said Kristin Kofmehl, Event Manager at Leafly. “We put together the Leafly HighWay Tour to celebrate the progress the cannabis legalization movement has made and the milestones still ahead. We can’t wait to connect with everyone out there who already loves Leafly and make some new friends along the way.”

The Leafly HighWay Tour will make stops at cannabis dispensaries and community events in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona. At each stop, the Leafly team will be on hand to educate attendees about topics from cannabis legalization to the best cannabis products to responsible consumption. Stops will also feature entertainment such as music, food trucks, and other summer activities. Along the way, the tour will be joined by friends of Leafly and other special guests, kicking off with reggae artist Yaadcore at stops throughout California.

At every stop, Leafly will be joined by a host of partners from the cannabis community. In California, partners include Foreman Farms, Sensi Chew, and Honey Pot. Marley Natural, the official cannabis brand of Bob Marley, is joining the HighWay Tour as its official advocacy partner. Marley Natural’s social impact initiative, Rise Up, aligns with causes that reflect Bob Marley’s vision of positive change, environmental sustainability, and social justice. “Leafly is a cannabis information resource for the both the cannabis curious and experienced patients and connoisseurs, with features like the Leafly strain database, information about cannabis products and brands, news and lifestyle content, and comprehensive educational guides on a variety of topics,” said Ericka Pitman, Marketing Director. “Our goal is to channel the wealth of information available on Leafly.com and the Leafly App and share that with others in-person as we embark on the HighWay Tour.”

The Leafly HighWay Tour is yet another multi-state mainstream cannabis education and culture event from the Leafly Events team. In 2016, Leafly Events hosted a wildly successful 12-city comedy tour, which was revived in April 2017 for one night only in a multi-city event to support charitable causes.

In 2017, the Leafly HighWay Tour will visit cities including:

  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Scottsdale, AZ
