PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Country music entertainer Scotty McCreery brings his deep voice to the SugarHouse Casino Event Center stage on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 9 p.m. The singer/songwriter will perform fan-favorite chart-toppers and some of his newest material, including his latest single, “Five More Minutes.” Tickets for his performance go on sale June 16 and cost $49-$69.
With a standout baritone voice, McCreery’s sound is rich and sultry — and one of the reasons behind his rise to the top on “American Idol.” Since winning the competition in 2011 at the age of 17, McCreery has dominated the country music scene, debuting three consecutive albums at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, releasing two Top 10 hits, and earning Platinum and Gold album certifications.
McCreery has established himself as one of today’s hottest country artists, approaching almost three million album sales and earning awards from the Academy of Country Music, American Country Music and Broadcast Music Inc. McCreery comes to Philadelphia on the heels of releasing “Five More Minutes” in May, which has already earned more than 2.5 million streams on Spotify, and authoring his first memoir, “Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream” in 2016.

He was the youngest male artist of any musical genre and the first country music artist to accomplish that feat with his first project. “Clear as Day” became the best-selling solo album released by a country artist in 2011. McCreery’s first two singles from that album, “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble With Girls,” are both certified Platinum, with “The Trouble With Girls” earning McCreery the CMT USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2012. His second studio album, “See You Tonight,” featured two Top 10 hits — the Platinum-certified title cut and the Gold-certified “Feelin’ It.”
