FoxNext Promotes Rick Phillips to President of FoxNext Games

Phillips to Oversee Publishing and Licensing for FoxNext Games

LOS ANGELES--()--FoxNext President Salil Mehta today announced the promotion of Rick Phillips to President of Licensing and Publishing, FoxNext Games. Phillips previously oversaw Fox’s game licensing across mobile, console, PC, social and online gaming.

With FoxNext’s acquisition of Aftershock, an industry-leading creator of AAA mobile games, Phillips adds responsibilities for marketing and distribution, and he will build out Fox’s publishing group, as well as continue oversight of Fox’s current games licensing business, reporting to Mehta.

Games previously released by Fox include the critically acclaimed: Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game, Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards, The Simpsons Tapped Out, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, Ice Age Adventures, Angry Birds Rio, Sugar Smash: Book of Life and Alien: Isolation.

Phillips will work in partnership with Aaron Loeb, who has joined FoxNext Games from Aftershock as President of Studios, FoxNext Games.
