NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cycle Media, a new media holding company, was announced today and houses both Cycle, a media network boasting one of the most engaged audiences on the internet, and Laundry Service, a full-service marketing agency and 2017 Ad Age A-List winner. Cycle Media will leverage these marquee portfolio companies to build a new kind of digital media business.
An anchor to that strategy involves building and acquiring additional media brands and platforms, as well as expanding its current portfolio of properties into new verticals, inclusive of sports, women’s interest, and more. Cycle Media is a subsidiary of Wasserman, which will provide up to $150M for the initial phase of acquisitions.
To support this growth plan, longtime digital media executive Jason Kelly has joined Cycle Media as Chief Strategy Officer reporting to Stein. Kelly will work to scale the business through both organic and acquisition-driven opportunities. He joins Cycle Media with several years’ experience serving as a senior-level executive at advertising companies like Millennial Media and Sociomantic.
