CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Horizon Investments, a leading goals-based investment management firm, has appointed John Drahzal to the newly created position of Head of Distribution, it was announced today. In this role, Drahzal will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s distribution strategy, including sales, marketing and strategic account management. John will sit on Horizon’s Executive Committee and will also be responsible for corporate development for the firm.

Drahzal began his career at Victory Asset Management, subsequently moving to Prudential Investments where he was responsible for retail distribution across mutual funds, separately managed accounts and sub-advisory businesses. He also served as President of Reich & Tang.
