Fathers’ Rights Movement Bringing Its Digital Media Home to Maven Network

SEATTLE--()--The Fathers’ Rights Movement, a non-profit organization reaching millions of social visitors weekly across the U.S., will be advancing its positive parenting mission with a full suite of podcasts, videocasts, blogs and articles using the digital media platform launched by Maven (MVEN).

“I expect our partnership with Maven to greatly increase the good that The Fathers’ Rights Movement offers in helping fathers be a more significant part of their children’s lives. Audience building and the ease of adapting multimedia content to our viewers makes our mission that much more achievable,” said Thomas Fidler, TFRM’s president and founder.

“We believe that fathers are capable of bearing the burdens and responsibilities which shared parenting demands for a child’s best development,” he added. “Our partnership with Maven is the next step in our mission to encourage the fathers of the world to step up and be an active part of their children’s lives in real and tangible ways. The reach of Maven will extend our audience and improve the lives of countless children and their parents.”

TFRM is a support, education and advocacy group for fathers dealing with family law, child support and custody decisions.

Maven provides elite content leaders an end-to-end digital platform within a cooperative that shares resources and distribution and maximizes monetization. “Our coalition of award-winning journalists, best-selling authors, top analysts, important causes and foundations continues to grow because our world-class platform provides new tools for these people – who have built incredible communities – to scale and grow their businesses. The Fathers’ Rights Movement is the type of organization we want to empower,” said James Heckman, Maven CEO.

“Thomas and the TFRM team are highly professional in their advocacy and messaging for their cause. The passion, and sometimes desperation, of the community they serve is deep, and they will now have unlimited and unrestricted ability to communicate with each other. We expect their community to thrive within this platform,” he added.

Maven is an expert-driven, group media network, whose state-of-the-art platform serves, by invitation-only, professional, independent channel partners. By providing broader distribution, greater community engagement, and efficient advertising and membership programs, Maven enables partners to focus on the key ingredients for their business and mission: creating, informing, sharing, discovering, leading and interacting with the communities and constituencies they serve.

Based in Seattle, Maven is publicly traded under the ticker symbol MVEN. The executive team includes digital media pioneers James Heckman and Ross Levinsohn, and technology innovators Bill Sornsin and Ben Joldersma.
