Paves Way To Promote Financial Health To Credit Union Members With Unique Mobile Financial Services

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--Meed, the Santa Monica-based financial health company committed to bringing socially-conscious innovation to the financial sector, today announced a partnership with the American Consumer Council, a non-profit consumer education organization focused on consumer advocacy, financial education and corporate social responsibility.

Meed will incorporate ACC membership into a suite of benefits for Meed users who can enroll via ACC’s partnering credit unions. Meed also will make available its innovative mobile app, offering access through its Member Financial Institutions to a demand deposit account, a security savings account, a secured line of credit, domestic and international transfers between Meed users, as well as access to the global income-building SocialBoostTM program, which gives users the opportunity to earn a new income stream while also helping those users who need it most.

After its launch in Vietnam last year, Meed has enjoyed exponential growth and is projecting over 300,000 users in Vietnam alone by year end. It is on track for launching in the U.S. and Mexico in 2017, with plans to establish a global network of banks and credit unions in 30 countries by 2021.
