Scottrade Named One of America’s Best Employers by FORBES

Independent survey reveals high satisfaction from Scottrade associates

ST. LOUIS--()--Scottrade was named to FORBES’ annual list of America’s Best Employers, which recognizes the top 500 large employers, plus the 300 best mid-size employers.

“For the past 37 years, we’ve worked to provide our associates with an appealing culture where their feedback is valued, they can grow professionally, benefit from a healthy work/life balance and receive competitive benefits,” said Jane Wulf, chief administrative officer at Scottrade. “We take pride in hiring those who are inquisitive, experienced, outgoing and love to learn and providing them with a terrific work environment, and are honored our associates think of Scottrade as a best place to work.”

In collaboration with online statistics provider Statista, FORBES asked 30,000 American employees – 84 percent of those being full-time employees – working for large firms or institutions to rate their willingness to recommend their own companies on a scale of 0 to 10. The employees who took part in the survey were consulted not via their employers but anonymously through several online access panels. Data was recorded in September 2016.

The scores were then analyzed using the theory of net promoter score. For reference, anyone who gives a willingness score of 9 or 10 is categorized as a “promoter” – involving a highly selective criteria which determined Scottrade’s title as one of America’s Best Employers.

Scottrade has won numerous workplace accolades over the past several years, including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Top Workplaces from 2012-14 and 2016, and was one of Fortune’s Best Companies to Work For from 2007-2013.
