VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Armada Hoffler Properties, Inc. (NYSE: AHH) today announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 6,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $13.00 per share, for net proceeds, after the underwriting discount but before estimated expenses of the offering payable by the Company, of approximately $74.3 million.
The offering is expected to close on May 12, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 shares.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay a portion of the indebtedness outstanding under its unsecured revolving credit facility, which amounts will then become available for future borrowing, including to fund its development pipeline and for general corporate purposes.
BofA Merrill Lynch and Stifel are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering. Baird and Raymond James are serving as joint bookrunners for the offering. Janney Montgomery Scott and Wunderlich are serving as co-managers for the offering.
