CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hydralyte, a scientifically formulated oral rehydration solution (ORS), has embarked on a five-year partnership with Timmy Global Health, a non-profit organization focused on expanding global access to healthcare. The partnership will help provide relief of dehydration for a variety of clinical conditions that exist in many of the communities Timmy Global Health serves.
Beginning May 2017, Hydralyte will provide more than 30,000 oral rehydration solutions for use across Timmy Global Health’s medical service programs and will lend on-the-ground support with team members volunteering for Timmy Global Health trips.

As part of Timmy Global Health’s current college program, students from the Boston College chapter and Hydralyte employees will travel to Xela (Quetzaltenango), Guatemala from August 12 – 20th. Hydralyte and Timmy Global Health volunteers will provide vital assistance to medical professionals who are consulting with the indigenous Guatemalan community. “Access to oral rehydration therapy is a critical part of the care we provide to patients at our sites.
